I never smile if I can help it. Showing one's teeth is a submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for it's life.
I grew up in Kansas City then headed to Iowa State University in Ames for college. After nine long years, I finally left ISU... with a PhD in biochemistry. Now, I have made the transition from being a student to working in academia. Soon, I would like to make the change from academia to industry. Things are going to be interesting.
