Welcome to my blog. I really don't know what I'm doing or where this will go, but I'm trying something new.
About Me

- I grew up in Kansas City then headed to Iowa State University in Ames for college. After nine long years, I finally left ISU... with a PhD in biochemistry. Now, I have made the transition from being a student to working in academia. Soon, I would like to make the change from academia to industry. Things are going to be interesting.

I have a question: is the poster actually in English? Because I have no idea what it says.
(You, however, are smarter than I am so I'm sure it will come as no shock that I don't get it.)
kilax - I could tell you about it in the middle of the day and it would probably have the same effect as the bedtime story...
moflo - I would say that I know more about science, but I wouldn't make the claim that I am "smarter" than you are. Is the poster in English? Technically the answer would be yest, but it's in a science dialect of English meant to keep the non-science people away. It is, what is referred to as, "job security".

What you would call a "misspelling", we scientists call "job security". The same goes for "incorrect" grammar, as can be found in the Future Directions portion of the poster.
Holy crap!
I'm going to give you a great big, "Good Job!" in a Preschool Music Teacher voice. It's the same voice I use when one of my students says something to me in baby-speak that I can't quite understand, but I'm just so proud of them for speaking at all that I'm probably a little too enthusiastic.
